One of the primary objectives of Advanced Communications is to obtain a letter of recommendation from our clients.  It is important to note that our goal is to provide the customer with quality service, and not to please equipment vendors.

Included herein are the letters of recommendations we have received from several of the large projects we have conducted.  You may contact any of the individuals who have provided these letters for additional comments.

Posey County

This county recently installed a new E-911 center.  Dispatching moved from several 7-digit numbers for various services to a common dispatch point using 911.  This new dispatch point was moved from the Sheriffs' Office to a new central location.  Our work included interfacing with all volunteer fire departments throughout the county, local town marshals, city police and fire and and the county sheriff, in order to design a new dispatch system which would meet all of their needs.  Primary objective was to provide countywide portable coverage, generate and issue specifications, oversee bidding process and insure proper installation and operation.

Shelby County

This County built a new jail facility, which combined the City Police along with the County Sheriff Departments.  Our objective was to combine two separate dispatching facilities into one common center, incorporating new E-911 equipment and utilizing as much of the existing equipment as possible.  We were able to design a facility that met their needs and provide an excellent back-up center.

Sullivan County

Our assistance with the E-911 director, Jack Stapleton, was to design a communication center that would accommodate their growing needs.  We reviewed their requirements, generated specifications that met those requirements and oversaw the project through installation and testing.

Starke County

This project required a complete redesign of the existing radio and telephone operations.  Based upon their input, we designed a three-site receiver system, which provided complete portable coverage throughout the county.  With the successful performance of the Sheriffs' system, we were then contracted to improve the county fire system which required an extensive amount of time and resources.  This system is now full operational with multiple transmit and receive sites.

Purdue University

The University moved their police headquarters which required an immense amount of project management abilities.  The police department monitors thousands of alarms throughout the campus area, along with complete dispatching services of university police, fire and EMS services.  This project required the complete replacement of their dispatching equipment, moving of alarms and control circuits, back-up power, CCTV, and all related operations of the university security system.

Spencer County EMA

Complete countywide coverage was the primary objective of this project.  We were able to design and implement a multiple site system that produced the required results for the various agencies.

Warren Twp. Schools, Indianapolis

We began this project after the school administration had begun trying to design the system on their own.  Our involvement was to address the system problems, along with overseeing the implementation of their new system.  Our technical input allowed the school system to save a considerable amount of money, while still providing all of the features that were important for the various agencies.

Evansville Water and Sewer Utility

We worked as a technical consultant with KGVS to insure the successful completion of a radio control system that controls the city water system.
